Trigonometric Identity Proofs

Materials needed:

• An accepted invitation to Parker’s World of PreCalculus 30 Blog
• Smartboard or a digital recording device
• 8 fundamental identities
• Access to internet to view video

Your Task:

•  Google search something like Trig Identity Proofs Tutorial. There are numerous videos out there to get ideas from.  Pick a video that demonstrates the procedures of a basic trigonometric proof.  Record the URL of the website you watched.
• You and your partner are to post on Parkers World of PreCalculus 30 blog a video of you completing a proof of the two identities assigned to you.  Each member of your pair must do one question.  You will want to rehearse completing the proof correctly ahead of time.
• You blog posting must include:

a.       Clearly identified proof that you are demonstrating.

b.       A video of you completing the proof on paper/smartboard with a verbal explanation.

c.       The URL of the video tutorial you used to assist you.

You will be assessed on the following:

• Correctness of the proof.
• Explanation of your steps.
